Three nuns, each a generation apart, are living in seclusion on an isolated island. Forgotten by the rest of the world, the nuns live a harmonious life inside a dilapidated monastery, where they work, pray and knit while telling each other fairy tales, until one day an ambitious young priest, Father Ignatius, discovers the three Sisters when he arrives on a mission from the Church.
