The Farrelly Brothers’ The Three Stooges trailer

American vaudeville and comedy act, The Three Stooges, are about to be brought back to the big screen. This time, Sean Hayes (Will & Grace), Chris Diamantopoulos (Under New Management) and Will Sasso (MADtv) will play the trio who were best known for their slapstick and physical humour.

Directed by The Farrelly Brothers, best known for Dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary, the film will follow the trio from being left as newborns outside an orphanage to adulthood. The comedy, also starring Larry David and Jennifer Hudson, will be divided into three half-hour shorts.

The Three Stooges, distributed by 20th Century Fox, is set for a June 21 release (previously April 12).
