IF has two posters and collector’s edition DVDs of Peter Weir’s The Cars That Ate Paris to give away. 

Released in 1974, Cars that Ate Paris was written and directed by Weir and follows anti-hero Arthur Waldo (Terry Camilleri) who ends up in the rural Australian village of Paris where he is taken in by the Mayor (John Meillon). Arthur must navigate the tension between the corrupt town establishment and the wild new generation of Parisians – all of whom are concealing a horrific secret.

The DVD features a six panel matte board fold-out with new artwork, and includes Weir’s 1979 telemovie The Plumber as an extra. It retails at $19.95 and the poster (70cm x 100cm is valued at $49.95).
