In conjunction with the 15th World of Women (WOW) Film Festival beginning on October 1 next week, the festival is also presenting “Indie-fest @ the World of Women Film Festival” by Indieflix.

A new alliance formed between Seattle-based independent film distribution company, IndieFlix.com and the WOW Film Festival, has permitted a selection of international cutting edge films that will be screened throughout the festival to premiere online.

A showcase of three hours of films entered into this year’s WOW Film Festival have been available for streaming to audiences worldwide since September 19 – at www.indie-fest.com/WOW. Among them are Cynthia Connup’s Bloodlines, Helen Goritsas’ Along the Songline, VCA student Kathryn Goldie’s Duck Soup and Watermelon, and INSIDEFILM editor Rachael Turk’s feeling_lonely?.

Until Monday September 29, registered viewers at IndieFlix.com can vote for their favourite flick, where the winner would receive a cash prize of US$500 presented by IndieFlix. The announcement will be made at the WOW Film Festival Awards Presentation on Friday 3rd October at the Chauvel Cinema.
