Netflix has opened applications for its photography bootcamp, a two-day training program in which participants will learn from industry leaders, build networks, and develop the technical skills required to service the growing local film and television industry.

Open to emerging Australian creatives, the initiative will select up to 10 photographers and 10 videographers to participate in an intensive, with applications for the video bootcamp to open April 1.

The photography program will take place from April 11-12 in Melbourne and feature panel discussions with Netflix executives from Australia and Asia-Pacific (APAC), alongside a comprehensive masterclass led by Australian stills photographer Ben King.
