The Women in Media National Conference will take place at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney on August 9, bringing together professionals from journalism, communications, production, advertising, marketing, public relations, publishing, and digital media.

As part of this year’s Trust and the Media pillar, Justice Michael Lee, known for his incisive handling of complex legal cases, and Ita Buttrose will explore critical issues affecting both the media and judicial landscapes.

Walkley-Award-winning journalist Liz Hayes will be in conversation with Australian film and feminist icon Rachel Griffiths; actress, director, and producer Leah Purcell joins a panel of women to discuss the media’s influence on the national crisis of men’s violence against women; e-Safety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant will talk about online risks and rewards for women; columnist and author Jane Caro and co-founder of The Daily Aus Zara Seidler discuss career trends and pivots.
