Screenworks and Australians In Film (AiF) are inviting applications for the Regional Screen in LA Program, following a COVID-related hiatus.

Now in its third year, the annual initiative offers a professional development opportunity in Los Angeles for emerging professional creatives or crew practitioners living in regional Australia.

The successful recipient will receive a return economy airfare to Los Angeles, in addition to regional flights/transport in Australia, as well as support with preparation in the lead-up to the US residency.

Australians in Film will provide assistance and access while working in Los Angeles for four weeks, plus pre-recommendations, LA industry help, and networking.

Applicants are required to provide a plan of what they would like to achieve during a 4-week residence in Los Angeles and how this will assist them in achieving their career goals.

The experience will be tailored to the successful recipient’s particular field of interest and career development ambitions.

This year, applications are encouraged from both above-the-line and below-the-line screen practitioners.
