Brisbane International Film Festival 2023

October 26, 2023 - November 5, 2023

The 29th Brisbane International Film Festival will include a program of world premieres, Australian premieres, Queensland premieres and special events from October 26 through to November 5.

BIFF will take place at selected Dendy, Reading and Five Star cinemas locations across Brisbane. Opening the festival is New Zealand coming-of-age comedy Uproar, while Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins will close the festival.

Australian titles include Kitty Green’s The Royal Hotel, Goran Stolevski’s Housekeeping for Beginners, Luke Sparke’s Bring Him To Me, Mark Leonard Winter’s The Rooster, Sean McDonald’s Bromley: Light After Dark, Gillian Moody and Adrian Russell Wills’ Kindred, Jolyon Hoff’s You Should Have Been Here Yesterday, Madeleine Dyer’s A Savage Christmas; Jack Clark and Jim Weir’s Birdeater, Gabriel Curruba’s Sunflower, Indianna Bell and Josiah Allen’sYou’ll Never Find Me, Cameron and Colin Cairnes’  Late Night With the Devil, and The Ending Goes Forever: The Screamfeeder Story, directed by Jacob Schiotz.
