Bus Stop Films 2024 Inclusive Producers Attachment Program: Submissions
June 17
Bus Stop Films is inviting applications for its Inclusive Producers Attachment Program.
At least eleven emerging producers from seven states will be selected to work as producer attachments on Bus Stop Films 2024 class film projects, working with the organisation’s in-house producer, Dianna La Grassa, to bring to life a slate of 19 inclusively made short films from Bus Stop’s Accessible Film Studies Program.
The roles are supported by Bus Stop Films together with Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, VicScreen, Screen Tasmania, Screen Canberra, and Screenwest. Screen Queensland has supported two streams: an open stream and a targeted stream open to people who are Deaf, Disabled, or Neurodiverse.
Bus Stop Films encourages producers from regional, CALD, Deaf/Disabled/Neurodiverse, First Nations, and LGBTQI+ communities to apply.
Engagement in the program will be approximately 65 hours including a 1-day (10-hour) shoot per film and is designed to be flexible around other employment or projects.
Depending on the location, the attachments will be allocated to work across up to 3 films. Productions will take place between August to October 2024. Many shoots will be on weekends. All films are shot in one day.
