With youth theatre being defunded, only 2 per cent Australian content on streaming services like Netflix, broadcasters parking Australian content in nowhere land, and the government failing to finance Australian created content, what is the future of Australian stories?

Can we be a cultural exporter, like South Korea, rather than a dumping ground? Panelists Samantha Lang (director, writer and producer), John Collee (screenwriter and creative director), Claire Pullen (Australian Writers’ Guild Executive Director), Sam Meikle (screenwriter and director) and Professor David Throsby will discuss the issue at Paddington’s Chauvel Cinema.
