Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival returns to Gympie, Queensland for its 14th edition this October.

This year’s program boasts more than 100 short films, including one world premiere, 18 Australian premieres, and 27 Queensland premieres.

The festival’s selected shorts will compete for various prestigious jury awards, including Best Short Film, Best Australian Short Film and Best Student Short Film.

The jury for this year includes filmmakers and Ben Hackworth, and founding juror Holly Pittman.
