This Halloween, Dendy Newtown will host a horror movie total theatre takeover, screening 20 films ranging from cult classics to modern must-sees.

There will also be lucky door prizes, competitions, themed candy bar offerings, and a free medium popcorn if you’re in a Halloween costume.

The line-up includes 35mm screenings of Halloween and The Blair Witch Project, a double bill of Ridley Scott’s Alien and James Cameron’s Aliens, 4K restorations of The Exorcist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, They Live, A Tale of Two Sisters and The Others. 

In celebration of their 55th anniversaries, Dendy will also screen Rosemary’s Baby and The Night of the Living Dead. Other classics include Cure, Child’s Play, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. Other films include House (Hausu), The Witch, Midsommar, Pet Sematary and Near Dark.
