Sydney Film Festival and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) have announced a program of 11 essential films by acclaimed Hong Kong director, Wong Kar Wai, to screen in Sydney at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (AGNSW) (January 16-31, 2021), Dendy Cinemas Newtown (January 19-February 18, 2021), and tour in select Australian cities across Summer and Autumn 2021.

The retrospective includes 11 of Wong’s best films, including his moody debut, As Tears Go By (1998), In The Mood For Love (2000); and My Blueberry Nights (2007), starring Jude Law, Natalie Portman, and Rachel Weisz.

Most films have undergone 4K restorations by the Criterion Collection, L’Immagine Ritrovata, One Cool, and Jet Tone.
