Made in the West Film Festival is returning this November, highlighting the cutting-edge films being made by indie and student filmmakers in the region.

Now in its 12th year, the festival includes a cinema screening at Event Cinemas Liverpool on Saturday, November 25, after which four major awards will be presented – Best in the West, Best Student Film, Best Music Video and the Audience Choice Award.

There will also be individual category prizes for Best Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Sound Design, Lead Actor, Supporting Actor, Screenplay, Original Score, and Production Design. The films will be judged by a panel of industry professionals.

The festival will be followed by an online screening component.
