Queer Screen’s 31st Mardi Gras Film Festival will run from February 15 to 29 in Sydney, before an on demand encore March 1 to 11 March nationwide.

The festival promises 100 LGBTIQ+ films from across the globe screening, to screen at Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Cinemas Newtown, Ritz Cinemas Randwick. The full festival program will be revealed January 10. 

Confirmed already are the Sydney premieres of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, All the Colours of the World Are Between Black and White, Happy Clothes: A Film About Patricia Field and the Australian premiere of Monica, starring transgender actress Trace Lysette stars alongside Patricia Clarkson.

Also in the early-line up are Mutt and Cora Bora.

There is exclusive presale access from January 8 for Queer Screen members. Film fans can also secure their festival passes at Early Bird pricing, with a Flexi 5 Early Bird pass now just $90 ($70 for Queer Screen members) and the Flexi 10 Early Bird pass only $170 ($135 for members).
