Netflix and Entertainment Partner (formerly Moneypenny) are inviting applications for a two-week training intensive designed to give an overview of the role of a production accountant and a how-to in managing a production budget.

Held in Sydney from February 27 – March 10, 15 participants from across Australia and New Zealand will gather in Sydney to learn the skills needed to fill necessary gaps in the labour pool.

The initiative will be led by training director Jill Hewitt and is part of Netflix ANZ’s Grow Creative program.

The workshop is for anyone looking to enter the screen industries as a Production Accountant. Applicants must have academic or vocational qualifications in accounting or an equivalent level of competence through work experience, for example as a bookkeeper or in a junior financial administration capacity.
