The Children’s International Film Festival

The Children's International Film Festival (CHIFF) is back with a month-long celebration of cinema designed to captivate and inspire young audiences and their families. The CHIFF program features 18 Australian premiere titles, a program of family short films and special events tailored to young filmgoers aged from three years old and up.

The 2024 HSBC Spanish Film Festival

The best cinema from Spain and Latin America. This year’s festival centrepiece is The Teacher Who Promised The Sea (El Maestro que Prometió el Mar), winner of the Audience Prize at the 2024 Gaudí Awards.

Doc Edge will move its international documentary festival to Christchurch this June. The 19th edition of this Oscar-qualifying festival will take place in multiple venues across Christchurch offering immersive experiences with screenings, talks, exhibitions, live performances, awards, and screen industry events. After its Christchurch premiere, the festival will be available in Auckland, Wellington, and across Aotearoa New Zealand through Doc Edge's Virtual Cinema. Screen SongHubs 2024: Submissions

Established and emerging screen composers, who identify as women and gender-diverse music creators, are invited to apply for Paramount Australia and APRA AMCOS's Screen Songhubs sessions, to be held July 24-26 at Sydney’s Church Street Studios.
