The Screen Music Awards, put on by the APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers, are an annual celebration of the champions of screen music composition. The 33rd annual Melbourne Queer Film Festival opens November 9 with the provocation 'Rewind to Fast Forward', with this year's program celebrating the indisputable existence of LGBTQIA+ peoples throughout history.
