The Fantastic Film Festival returns to Sydney and Melbourne in May for its fifth edition, offering a cross-section of cult, genre, arthouse, and alternative cinema across 24 feature films and 14 short films. The annual Independent Cinemas Australia conference will be held in Sydney this May at Ritz Cinemas. The Tuesday will be a combined NACO/ICA day where the MPDAA studios will screen footage of their upcoming line ups. From Wed-Fri the event will then move into the traditional ICA Conference format, with this year's focus 'The Future is Now'.
