Applications are open for this year’s Spark Short Film initiative, which this year carries the theme of Friendship.

Supported by Screen Territory as part of the annual program of the Darwin International Film Festival, three successful recipients will be provided with $30,000 in production funding to produce a ten-minute short film and will have the opportunity to work with an experienced Screen Industry story development mentor and will be assigned an executive producer.

Each film will also be provided with $10,000 of equipment rental from Panavision, with further support being offered by The Post Lounge in colour grading, Trackdown Studios, who are contributing sound engineering, and the NT’s Global HQ, which is supplying post-facilities.
