AACTA has opened entry across all Award categories – Television, Film, Documentary, Short Form and Online, and Visual Effects or Animation. This year features new comedy awards in Best Stand Up Comedy Special and Best Narrative Comedy Series. Best Comedy Performer category expands to 8 nominees, and AACTA has introduced an award for both Best Short Form Comedy and Best Short Form Drama.
