This very special recorded interview chaired by Kim Batterham ACS in the AFTRS auditorium gives an informative, entertaining and candid insight into this master’s career as one the world’s most eminent Directors of Photography. Filmed exclusively for ACS and AFTRS, the video includes scenes from his work which is discussed.
The ACS is very pleased to announce we will be screening an exclusive presentation of an ACS and AFTRS discussion with acclaimed cinematographer Roger Deakins CBE ASC BSC.

 


Roger Deakins is no doubt one of our greatest with a career reaching back 30 years. Well known collaborator of the Coen Brothers and Sam Mendes, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the ASC in 2011. His works include Shawshank Redemption, Fargo, Kundun, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, No Country for Old Men, A Beautiful Mind, Revolutionary Road, Prisoners, Skyfall and Unbroken.
