ADG applauds Screen Australia board

The Australian Directors Guild has issued a statement welcoming the new board of Screen Australia, announced last week by the Minister for the Arts Peter Garrett.

“The ADG welcomes today’s announcement of new Boards and Board members for the National Film and Sound Archive and the amalgamated authority, Screen Australia,” the statement reads.

“In particular the ADG welcomes the inclusion of filmmakers and in particular film directors on the Board of Screen Australia. Our congratulations go to the new board on their appointments, and we look forward to an active working relationship with the new Screen Australia Board and the NFSA.”
