The late Michael Gudinski had long wanted Paul Goldman to direct a documentary about his Mushroom entertainment empire, having first asked him to do so more than a decade ago.
Goldman has directed more than 200 music videos, and the pair knew each other and worked together for more than 40 years.
They hadn’t always seen eye to eye, having even ended up in court on occasion, but Goldman figures it was exactly because they could have “feisty, muscular, robust discussion” that Gudinski had asked him to shoot a Mushro...
