Behind the Curtain: Mental Health in the Entertainment Industry

An open discussion on the state of mental health in the entertainment industry, led by Casting Guild of Australia president Thea McLeod, and a panel of speakers including Ratitzo Mambo, Patrick Abboud, Entertainment Assist’s Julia Edwards, and Dylan Lewis. The panel will share their personal experiences, research findings, as well as available tools and resources. This event is open to performers, casting directors, talent representatives, directors, producers, industry stakeholders and practitioners, as well as mental health practitioners.

Birrarangga Film Festival

The Birrarangga Film Festival, a celebration of Indigenous films from around the globe, is returning to Naarm, from March 23-28. Now in its third year, audiences can look forward to an inspiring collection of stories from First Nations filmmakers, screening at The Capitol, ACMI, Lido, Classic, Victorian Pride Centre, and Federation Square.  Tickets will be on sale from February 23, 2023.
