Flickerfest 2023 – Submissions

Flickerfest has opened entries for submissions in all categories, including four Academy Qualifying Awards across the Australian, International and Documentary Competitions. In 2023, the festival will celebrate 32 years of screening the best short films from Australia and around the world in competitions and special showcases. Applications are now open for the eighth instalment of Screen Australia and YouTube Australia’s Skip Ahead initiative, to help online storytellers with an existing audience on YouTube expand their creative ambition and production value, and ‘skip ahead’ their careers.
