After almost seven years with six outdoor festivals and 100 metropolitan, regional and international events, ‘In the Realm of the Senses’ short film festival closes its doors.
Hot on its heels, Melbourne’s freshest outdoor short film festival, FedFest will be launched in the hub of Melbourne’s cultural precinct, Federation Square for the first time on Sunday March 15th 2009.
FedFest 09, will retain the outdoor festive spirit of In the Realm of the Senses and screen in competition, the freshest, most entertaining short films produced in recent years alongside roving performers and live music from some of Melbourne’s most respected musicians and DJ’s.
Featured, will be content crossing all genres and platforms from the very best national & international filmmakers working today.
Themes of food and wine will feature strongly as the daily activities from the Melbourne Food & Wine festival blend seamlessly into the film programs at dusk providing a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the cosmopolitan nature of Melbourne.
