Australia’s much loved entertainment editor Richard Wilkins will play anchor to the L’Oréal Paris 2007 AFI Awards Red-Carpet Arrivals Special.
Airing from 9.30pm on Thursday 6 December on the Nine Network, the red carpet arrivals will offer viewers a first glimpse to see some of Australian’s best known actors as they arrive for the industry’s prestigious night of nights.
Richard will be speaking to all your favourite industry heavyweights, award presenters and award nominees, as well as the cavalcade of Australia’s screen personalities as they arrive.
Joining Richard will be Channel Nine beauty Livinia Nixon, collecting industry tips and predictions from guests and nominees on who will win the top gong. Livinia will be catching up on the latest news and industry gossip, while welcoming Hollywood’s elite back home.
No stranger to the red carpet, glamorous Sophie Monk is this year’s fashion spotter. Sophie will be revealing who’s wearing who and sharing all the fashion tips of the night.
Richard said, ‘One of my favourite assignments is hosting the Nine Network’s coverage of the Academy Awards in Hollywood; the excitement of the Oscar’s red carpet and the euphoria of the victory celebrations. We’re looking to create the same sense of occasion at this year’s L’Oréal Paris 2007 AFI Awards.
