Screen Queensland will give away five full passes to this year’s Australian International Movie Convention.
The passes will be made available to producers, writers and directors.
Now in its 70th year, the AIMC will run from Sunday October 11-15 at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast.
The AIMC attracts record numbers of delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the US and Europe and offers the screen industry the opportunity to network with local and international distributors as they showcase their upcoming slates as well as speak to producers as well as exhibitors.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with decision makers, local industry representatives and learn from international distributors about their slates and their plans for the future.
Producers wishing to apply for one of the five full passes available (valued at $1,430) should have a demonstrable track record and well-developed slate of projects.
Writers and directors wishing to apply should have a feature film credit or equivalent and a well-developed slate of projects.
Only one registration is allowed per company, or where marketing the same projects.
Screen Queensland will not pay for any other expense or associated travel costs.
