Judith McCann, former head of the New Zealand Film Commission and the South Australian Film Corporation, died unexpectedly in Canada on October 4, age 75.
The Walt Disney Studios announced today it will shoot live-action film Pete’s Dragon in New Zealand, with production anticipated to begin in early 2015.
