Audiences for the second season of Puberty Blues are building after a slow start.
The third episode of the Southern Star Entertainment drama drew 535,000 viewers in the five capital cities last night, and 704,000 nationally. That’s up 12% on the previous week’s episode.
Network Ten said the show's March 12 audience jumped by 24%, or 113,000 viewers, through time-shifted viewing, for a total consolidated audience of 590,000.
There were 722,000 video views on catch-up service www.tenplay.com.au between March 12 and March 19 and 1.73 million video views since season 2 launched on March 5.
Seven's The Blacklist was No. 1 in Puberty Blues 2's 8.45 pm timeslot with 871,000 viewers in the five metros, 1.35 million nationally,
The night’s top rating programme again was My Kitchen Rules with 1.56 million/2.34 million, vs The Block Fans v Faves which had 1.23 million/1.72 million.
