Natalie Martinez will play the mother of the young murder victim in the US remake of Secrets & Lies.
Ryan Phillippe has been cast as the family man who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a young boy in the pilot commissioned by the ABC network.
Martinez’s credits include Under the Dome, CSI: NY and the movies Broken City and End of Watch. Deadline.com broke the news of her hiring.
The pilot starts shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina, on February 27, directed by Charles McDougall.
The producers are ABC Studios, Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment and Hoodlum’s Tracey Robertson and Nathan Mayfield, who produced the six-part Australian series for Network Ten.
