Australia’s everyman comedian, Peter Helliar, will be celebrating Australia Day in most true blue manner – playing backyard cricket with family and friends, while enjoying a few snags from the BBQ, and listening to Triple J’s Hot 100 amid the fresh air.
Later on he’ll be settling a few friendly arguments on ABC TV’s The Trophy Room where his guests will be:

Tonight, the whole program will be dedicated to Australian sporting trivia in a special “Aussie Made” show. Joining the ringmaster, Peter Helliar, as usual, will be team captains – ABC sports reporter Amanda Shalala and broadcaster Adam Spencer.
Playing alongside Amanda and Adam for sporting trivia supremacy in The Trophy Room arena will be a swag of true blue Aussies and mystery guests.
