Press release from The Coady Group
The smell of spring is just around the corner and entries are already flooding in for the 11th annual Bondi Short Film Festival.
The stunning Bondi Short Film Festival website www.bondishortfilmfestival.com contains all downloadable entry forms and details for filmmakers.
The only limitation on their creativity is that the film must be no longer than 15 minutes and has to have been created in the last 18 months.
From bold animations to powerful dramas, cutting edge documentaries and quirky comedies, it is little wonder that the Bondi Short Film Festival has reached cult status amongst indie filmmakers.
With prizes including a return flight to North America courtesy of Showtime Movie Channels, a Getty Images’ Pre-Paid Visa Card, Lenovo IdeaPad Laptops and Tablets, and a Spectrum Films editing package; the Festival has firmly established itself on the calendar of local up-n-coming filmmakers.
Added to these great prizes, the Festival also provides filmmakers with the opportunity to showcase their talent to a highly discerning audience – including guest judges from the Australian film industry.
“After 11 years the festival has now become an internationally recognised event and is seen as a launch pad for young Australian filmmakers. We pride ourselves in presenting the highest quality short films Australia has to offer. Eleven years is a wonderful milestone for any festival and it clearly shows the growing public support for local films and the short film medium.” says Founder and Festival Director, Francis Coady.
The Bondi Short Film Festival is 100% Australian content. The festival is also completely independent with more than 3,000 films entered in the last 11 years.
