Odin?s Eye Entertainment secures international sales rights for Crush

Nexus 6 Films is delighted to announce that it has signed a sales distribution agreement with innovative international media company, Odin’s Eye Entertainment (OEE) for its debut feature film, Crush.

The brain child of Western Australian screenwriter John V. Soto, Crush tells the story of Julian Meadows – an American exchange student and disgraced Tae Kwon Do champion whose life is transformed into a living hell after being seduced by the mysterious yet beautiful, Anna.

Specialising in media production, distribution and sales, OEE is dedicated to producing and distributing high quality independent feature films, television series and new media projects with a focus on multi-platform, high-concept programming with mainstream appeal and franchise potential.

According to OEE managing director Michael Favelle, Crush is indicative of the films he hopes to manage in the future.

‘Essentially Crush is a genre-driven, high-concept movie with mainstream appeal. It features great talent both in front and behind the camera, and is a story that is full of twists and turns.’

‘I’m really pleased to be working on the first new Australian production for 2008 and I look forward to unearthing more exciting talent in the years to come,’ said Favelle.

Nexus 6 Films producer Deidre Kitcher says OEE’s commitment to the project highlights the calibre of Australian talent Crush has attracted.

‘From our early discussions with Michael, it was apparent that we were on the same page as far as our motivations and aspirations for Crush were concerned.’

‘OEE is geared toward ensuring its projects reach the largest possible audience through the most expansive means, and this of course appeals to all involved in this production,’ said Kitcher.
