Ocean Road Films are producing the Tween Music Dance Feature; "The Chickabees".
The film is about a tween girl group that tries to become world famous by winning an online music competition. Along the way the girls learn that friendship is more important than fame.
Its a music dance movie based on the series of novels “Starring The Chickabees” by Australian author Margaret Clark.
"The Chickabees" will be directed by John McGlynn who has developed the film for several years. He said, "We are looking 12 young actors for the main cast they must excel in Dancing, Acting, and Singing". John believes this film will launch a raft of new young Australian stars."
Executive Producers are Joe Cimone, Morris Del Monte and Gavan Oconnor.
Funding is private and the budget is $600,000.
