INSIDEFILM has bolstered its editorial team with two new appointments.
Emma Brown joins INSIDEFILM as a new journalist today after spending the past six months at the Rural Press-owned Bay Post newspaper and the Moree Champion newspaper, where she covered a wide range of news.
She has also previously been employed as production coordinator for the ABC’s At The Movies program and worked in various television roles as a production assistant, coordinator and researcher.
Sam Dallas joined the INSIDEFILM team on April 21 in the role of journalist and most recently worked for the Fairfax Media-owned Camden Advertiser. He graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Information Systems majoring in Journalism and E-Commerce and is initially working three days a week.
These appointments represent a significant investment by Intermedia, which publishes more than 20 magazine titles including INSIDEFILM and Time Out Sydney.
Emma and Sam join editor Brendan Swift, bringing the size of the INSIDEFILM team to three, after the departure of Adam Coleman in mid-February.
IF FX editor Rodney Appleyard, who relocated to London earlier this year, will continue to contribute to the magazine covering the international VFX industry. Former IF assistant Jess Parker has moved to a full time role on the Production Book.
