Gregory King’s psychological drama, A Song of Good, will have its world premiere this week in front of a capacity audience at the 37th Rotterdam International Film Festival, a leading European showcase of independent, innovative and experimental cinema.
A Song of Good tells the story of Gary, who after committing a shocking crime secretly decides to change his life and become a good person. However deciding is one thing, changing is another.
Rotterdam describes the film as the tale of a sensitive young man who wants to step out of a downward spiral of theft, drugs and violence. ‘Black humour and a pleasant lack of sentimentality ensure a striking social commentary brimming with universal themes.’
Gregory and executive producer Leanne Saunders will both be at the Festival to introduce the film at its world premiere on Tuesday 29th January at 7.30pm in Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam International Film Festival runs from the 23rd of January to 3rd of February 2008.

Wednesday, 30th Jan at 3.45pm at the Pathe
Friday, 1st Feb at 9pm at the Pathe (Sold Out )
Saturday, 2nd Feb at 2.30pm at Venster 2.
The film will next screen in the marketplace of the Berlin International Film Festival in February.
