Press release from ASTRA
Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA), the subscription television industry’s peak body, has opened entries to its 2011 ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards.
Recognising excellence in the promotion of the subscription television industry, winners will be chosen from 11 categories and announced at the ASTRA Conference taking place on 29th March 2011.
The ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards recognise individuals, channels and agencies creating ground breaking and innovative campaigns within the Australian subscription television industry.
The submission closing date is Monday 14 February 2011.
CEO of ASTRA, Petra Buchanan said, “Australia’s subscription television industry is driven by exemplary creative work and dedication by all its contributors. ASTRA’s Industry Excellence Awards seek to highlight the efforts of the people involved in the marketing and communications fields – those responsible for taking our message to wider audiences and highlighting the many aspects of the industry.”
“The ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards were presented as a standalone event within the ASTRA 2010 Conference for the first time and we received an overwhelming response and number of entries.
"This year, we have added a new category for marketing campaigns under $50,000 to acknowledge innovative and effective work executed within limited budgets,” added Buchanan.
