The last episode ever of Margaret and David’s At the Movies on December 9 will be a fun-filled hour of bloopers, funny discussions, outstanding interviews with filmmakers and actors, behind-the-scenes footage and their final movie reviews of the films opening over the summer.
Those films include the big studio films: American Sniper, Exodus: Gods and Kings and Inherent Vice; family films: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and Big Hero 6.
They will also discuss male Oscar contender films Birdman and Foxcatcher; and female Oscar contenders Still Alice and Wild.
Foreign films will also make the cut, with reviews of Human Capital and Leviathan; and Australian films The Water Diviner and Paper Planes.
Margaret and David will also look at UK productions The Imitation Game, Mr Turner and The Theory of Everything.
And before they bid us farewell for the last time, Margaret and David will present their ‘Top 5’ films of 2014.
