One of Australia’s best-known colorists Trish Cahill has joined Efilm Australia as Senior Colorist, bringing a broad range of experience ranging from dailies to full Digital Intermediates on a wide range of productions.
Trish started out grading telecine dailies for TV shows such as Flipper and Lost World before graduating to feature films, working with David Eggby on Scooby-Doo, and Don McAlpine on Peter Pan. In 2004 she moved to Sydney, working on Stealth, shot by Dean Semler, before moving on to Superman Returns shot by Tom Sigel, for which she also travelled to the USA to assist with grading the finished film.
Following a variety of DI projects including West, 48 Shades and Newcastle, Trish has joined Efilm as a senior colorist. Her experience on productions ranging from low budget 16mm or HD digital shoots to US features – on 35mm as well as the first Genesis HD feature Superman Returns – will richly complement Efilm’s growing team of film, DI and telecine colorists.
Efilm Australia is a boutique design-led digital postproduction facility that combines client-centred services with the advanced technologies of the world’s leading Digital Intermediate facility Efilm in Los Angeles, with Australia’s world-class film laboratory Atlab, to provide end-to-end post-production services.
