The Film Finance Corporation will tomorrow announce the results of a national survey, which identifies the key factors required to achieve audiences for Australian films.
The FFC presented the results in two briefings for media and industry in
Sydney
yesterday, which Inside Film attended, and will hold another series of briefings tonight in Melbourne. The agency has imposed a media embargo on the results until late tonight.
The FFC commissioned Melbourne-based Bergent Research to conduct the national survey on the opinions and attitudes of Australian filmgoers, to find out what their overall attitude was towards Australian movies, if Australian movies suffer from a handicap, and whether all Australian movies are seen as being the same.
The results of the survey will be posted on the FFC website tomorrow morning.
