As a result of their recent campaign to raise $2 from every movie ticket sold on Sunday 15th February, Hoyts Cinemas is now making a substantial donation to the Bushfire Appeal Fund.
With initial hopes of raising tens of thousands of dollars on Sunday 15th February by donating $2 from every ticket sold, Hoyts Cinemas are pleased to confirm the final donation amount is actually $127,560.
"We are very happy, as a company, to be able to contribute to the Bushfire Appeal Fund, and are delighted that the amount has exceeded our expectations" explained Delfin Fernandez, C.E.O of Hoyts Corporation.
"It is thanks to our valued patrons and staff that we have been able to make this significant donation. I would also like to thank our Distribution partners for their part in this campaign" added Fernandez.
