Based in Pyrmont, the IF Awards are on the lookout for an enthusiastic intern, willing to support and be an active member of the IF Awards Team. The internship will have an immediate start and will run for a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of a year.
During this period, you will get a behind-the-scenes look into the Australian film and award industry as well as attend to IF Award-accredited film festivals, and actively contribute to the organizational process of one of the most important and glamorous events on the cinema industry calendar.
Salary: Unpaid
Starting Date: Immediate Start!
Length: min. 4 months / max 1 year
Attendance: Part- time (2 days a week)
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Working closely with the Partnerships Manager in coordinating the National Ratings Circuit
• Managing all IF Awards volunteers during accredited Film Festivals and theatrical screenings
• Researching upcoming Australian feature film and music video releases
• Database entry and management
• Working with the IF Awards team on any upcoming events or marketing initiatives
The successful applicant must have a personal interest in the Australian film industry, and the ability to multi-task and experience with Microsoft Office is also essential.
