‘It’s such a forgiving environment’: Tenika Smith goes back to where it began with ‘Neighbours’

When Tenika Smith stepped back onto the Neighbours set earlier this year to be part of the soap’s revival under Amazon, it represented a full-circle moment for the young director.

Smith was one of the first practitioners to complete a placement under a partnership between what was then Film Victoria and Fremantle Australia in 2018, eventually staying on as a director of the long-running program.
