Kodak promotes Goodyear

Eastman Kodak Company today announced the appointment of Ingrid Goodyear to the role of General Manager of its motion picture business in the company’s Asia Pacific Region (APR) and Vice President Entertainment Imaging.

Goodyear will be responsible for the full oversight of the Region’s business within 15 key countries, including Australia, Japan, Korea, India and China. She will transition from her previous role as General Manager of the division’s Image Capture business, where she oversaw the design and marketing of Kodak’s full line of motion picture camera negative products. In her new position, Goodyear will retain her responsibilities for Worldwide Marketing.

“Given her broad experiences in operations, finance, sales and marketing, Ingrid brings a real depth to this role,” said Kim Snyder, President Entertainment Imaging and Vice President Eastman Kodak Company. “I am very pleased to have such a proven, successful leader appointed to this key position.”

Goodyear will assume this responsibility on December 14th upon the retirement of her predecessor Greg McKibbin who joined Kodak 45 years ago and has dedicated his distinguished Kodak career to sales and general management roles around the world in both the motion picture and graphics businesses.

Goodyear began her career at Kodak in 1989 as a finance graduate trainee. In 1995 she moved into the Entertainment Imaging Division as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Asia Pacific Region and has held various positions within the division since that time.

In 1999, Goodyear was appointed Director of Business Development and in 2001, she was Goodyear appointed GM of EI Asia Pacific Region moved to Shanghai as General Manager of the Greater China Region. She returned to Australia in 2003 as the Director of Marketing and Operations, APR.

In 2008 Goodyear was appointed to the role of Worldwide General Manager of Image Capture and Vice President of Entertainment Imaging, with the additional responsibility for Worldwide Marketing added in February 2009.

Goodyear graduated from the Philip Institute of Technology with a business degree majoring in accounting. A native Australian, she will be managing the Region from its Melbourne, Australia headquarters.
