Martine Druelle-Ireland.
Martine Druelle-Ireland has joined global distributor Entertainment One (eOne) as vice president of sales, Australia, New Zealand and India, international distribution.
Based in Sydney and reporting to Joyce Yeung, eOne’s executive VP, sales, APAC international distribution, she is responsible for overseeing sales of eOne’s film and television slate across pay TV/SVOD and free TV.
The eOne slate includes eOne-produced films such as Stan & Ollie and Wild Rose and the TV series The Rookie, Designated Survivor, Cardinal, Private Eyes, The Walking Dead and Ransom.
She succeeds Ben Bishop, who moved to Narcos distributor Gaumont in December in the newly created role of VP, TV distribution, APAC.
Her appointment comes as eOne gets ready to close its Australian theatrical distribution and marketing operations, with Universal Pictures taking over in April.
“We’re very excited to have Martine join the team,” said Yeung. “Her record-breaking revenue performances and extensive global experience in content distribution across different regions along with great relationships in the industry will no doubt drive further growth to our business in Australia, New Zealand and India.”
Previously Druelle-Ireland worked at NBCUniversal Television Distribution for 16 years in various roles overseeing multiple territories. Since 2009 she served as VP, Australia and New Zealand, supervising major output deals and managing a library consisting of 9,000 movies and 40,000 TV episodes.
Before that she was based in the company’s London office as VP for Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Israel.
