The opening night film of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, Midnight in Paris is a delightful romantic comedy, with an all-star cast. As Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona was a love letter to Barcelona, Midnight in Paris is a love letter to Paris. It’s about a family travelling on business; it’s about two young people who are engaged to be married (Wilson and McAdams); it's about a young man falling in love with the City of Light; and ultimately it’s about the illusion people have that a life different from their own would be much better.
The film will be released in Australia by Hopscotch on October 20.
