The co-production treaty between Australia and Singapore has now come into force, while the treaty with the People’s Republic of China is expected to come into force by the end of 2008.
A co-production treaty is currently being negotiated with the Government of South Africa.
Screen Australia will continue to monitor the interaction between the Co-production and Producer Offset programs, making amendments to Guidelines where appropriate.
Any revisions will be aimed at ensuring the two schemes operate well together and minimise redundancies between the administration of the two programs.
