Despite a lack of support from exhibitors, low budget croc thriller Black Water has had a strong opening, taking just over $17,000 on three Darwin screens last weekend.
After screening in the UK, Poland, Mexico and Malaysia, croc thriller Black Water will finally make its debut in the filmmakers� home city of Sydney in a special screening presented by the Australian Writers� Guild.
Black Water, the low budget Aussie survival thriller, has now been sold to 76 countries –making it one of the most successful Australian feature films of the past twelve months.
